Berkeley vineyards? Not exactly. But a Berkeley winery makes a lot of sense. For one, we live here which means we are never more than 10 minutes from our barrels. For another, the winery is only a few hundred yards from the Bay and positioned directly across from the Golden Gate Bridge. Aside from a view (from the roof) this affords us a natural air conditioner in the warmer months via the cool fog that rolls in under the bridge, across the bay and into the winery. |
